For as long as Laura can remember, barn cats have lived on her family's farm in Columbia County. Generations came and went, but the story was always the same: more kittens, more breeding, and more cats struggling to survive.

When Laura moved back to the farm, she looked at the cats she had grown up with and knew she couldn't let the cycle continue.

With help from FCCO, she began bringing cats to our clinics this summer. One by one, 15 cats received their spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and parasite treatment. Laura is still working to socialize five young kittens, and they will soon enter FCCO's Kitten Caboose program and they will have the opportunity to find families of their own.

Today, 21 barn cats have something they didn't have before: relief. No more endless litters. No more adding to the challenges of life outdoors. Just a healthier future.

That future exists because of compassionate supporters like you.

Laura said, "I'm so very grateful to have found your services!"

And so are the cats whose lives have been changed forever. Please sponsor a spay today!
